Time to Stop Animal Testing
Did you know that every year about 100,000 to 200,000 animals every year suffer and die from cosmetics testing. Around the world, animals such as rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats and mices are subjected to animal testing for cosmetic products. Often, they have irritating chemicals rubbed on their skin and dropped in their eyes and even fed the chemicals. No pain relief is provided and the animals are often killed at the end of the testing,
These testings are not only morally wrong, but unnecessary. Often the results found are unreliable and inconsistent. Furthermore, chemicals reactions between species differ, so these tests results often under or over predict harm in humans.
It's time to take the pledge to end animal testing. See what brands have taken the pledge.
